Facilitator Lynda Sturner has created this program and led dozens of sessions at Boston University and at the Castle Hill Arts Center in Truro. The workshops proved to be so popular Lynda has offered and conducted numerous sessions out of her homes in New York City and Truro.
Workshop Journey
April 16:
Begin with crafting characters and scenarios from a foundational script, exploring hidden depths and subtext through an introductory acting exercise.
Dive into improvisation with an "I want" monologue, leading to insightful at-home writing exercises you can complete between the first and second session.
April 23:
Expand your play’s universe by casting and exploring new situations. Participate in a nurturing environment of reading and feedback.
April 30:
Reflect on your progress, discuss future directions, and strategize next steps, supported by feedback from Lynda Sturner and your peers.
