Little Devils Returns!

Helltown Players is proud to announce the return of the show that introduced us to the world last Winter. We’ve updated its name to “More Little Devils” and we’ve opened it up to playwrights from across Cape Cod! We are looking for short plays to fill out the program. If you are a Cape Cod-affiliated playwright and have a play you would like to submit, read the requirements and use the forms below to send us your play.
Submission Details…
Fermin Rojas and Alison Blake star in Lynda Sturner’s “A Twist of Lemon,” part of 2024’s Little Devils.
We are looking for short original plays to fill the program. Last year’s presentation had 6 plays. We are looking for a similar number of plays this year.
Each play must be no longer than 20 minutes to perform. Ideally we are looking for plays between 10 and 15 minutes.
To submit a short play, you must be affiliated in some way to Cape Cod - live on Cape year round, have a weekend or summer home, or work on Cape Cod. Let us know what your affiliation is on your submission.
One play submission per person.
Your play submission can have a past full production. We recommend that you submit a play that has not received a production on the Cape within the past few years.
We are looking for comedies, tragedies, and everything in between. Plays will be chosen that fill out a satisfying night of theatre with plays that complement each other.
We are looking for well-rounded plays – not skits.
Format…
Please submit your script in PDF format. Include your bio and play blurb in your submission.

Compensation…
Playwrights whose plays have been accepted for production will receive a royalty of $100 for the use of their play for the run of the show. All playwrights will retain the rights of their plays.
Deadlines…
We will be accepting submissions during the month of November. Use the forms below to submission your play.
Submissions will close on Midnight of November 30, 2024.
Notification of selection will be in December.

Production…
Helltown Players has an agreement with the Provincetown Theater to produce More Little Devils during the month of February, 2025. Plays will be selected by the end of December and will begin rehearsals in January. The show will run in Provincetown from February 13 - 23, 2025.
We are looking for another venue on Cape Cod in the month of March to round out the show’s run. Please reach out to us if you have a performance venue we can use!
Little Devils 2024…
Helltown Players is looking to build on the success of 2024’s production of Little Devils: six short plays by the Helltown Players which ran at the Provincetown Theater (February 8 - 18) and The Academy of Performing Arts (February 29 - Mar 10.
